Sometimes the sea conditions make it difficult to reach the Ieranto Bay and to the South Coast. When this happens, we visit other snorkeling destinations which are protected on the North side, such as Regina Giovanna. For these decisions we rely on the competent hands of our commander.

The presence of clouds and rain are NOT considered factors for the cancellation of the excursions.

The water temperature varies from about 18 ° C in early May to peaks around 26 ° -27 ° C between the end of August and the beginning of September. We provide our customers with thermal protection suits suitable for the environmental conditions.

Visibility on the surface is very variable as it is influenced by wave motion, currents and rains. The average visibility in the summer is around 15-20 meters, but on certain occasions it can be reduced to less than 10 meters or reach peaks of 25 meters in optimal conditions.

Knowing how to swim is a prerequisite to participate in snorkeling excursions.
